This was part of the Winter Wonderland giveaway from January when a ton of authors offered up mostly shorts for free. Because of that it isn’t on amazon but you can download it from the author’s website.
So this is definitely what I would call a short. This isn’t even close to a novella. In a regular book, this would be 2 chapters tops.
It was kind of hot and fun. But kind of cheesy as well. I was looking at the author’s backlist and it looks like this may be their first MM book. That is…kind of obvious.
My issues were, continually reading “pop my cherry” and the fact that the bodyguard, seemingly a professional, had sex with his client on his first night of work. I am all about suspending reality and whatnot, but he didn’t even think about the possible consequences.
So if you want a short story that is mostly sex, go for it. But this was not for me.
